Copyright Statement for MLS Submission

All photographs submitted to the MLS by Dana Thompson of SouthBayPics are the exclusive copyrighted works of Dana Thompson/SouthBayPics. By accepting and displaying these images, the MLS acknowledges and agrees:

• Copyright is retained by Dana Thompson/SouthBayPics at all times.

• The MLS is granted a limited, non-exclusive license to display the images solely for the marketing of the specific property while it is actively listed.

• This license does not transfer, assign, or imply any copyright ownership or broader rights to the MLS or its participants.

• Images may not be used, sold, transferred, or distributed for purposes outside of the original property listing without express written consent from Dana Thompson/SouthBayPics.

• Any attempts by the MLS, its affiliates, or third parties to alter, remove, or supersede this copyright statement are strictly prohibited.

All images retain embedded copyright metadata which may not be removed or altered.

This clear language can be attached to your photo metadata, delivery invoices, and submission emails to protect your rights and put MLS entities on notice that they cannot override your copyright
